Blog Post #8

Diigo is useful for classroom settings that have daily discussion and do research. I learned how to annotate directly from a website. The annotations and notes made go to a thread that anyone in the group can see which is very useful. This is a very useful website.
The first level, knowledge, is needed to start the PowerPoint. You need knowledge to begin that assignment. Comprehension is needed to do research and apply the information to each slide. Application is using the information you collected and putting it into words on each slide. Analysis is knowing where to put the information on each slide such as titles and pictures. Evaluation is revising your PowerPoint and making sure all the information is correct. Create is presenting the presentation and showing it off to others.

Teachers see technology as integral to education and want to use it. Using technology such as, Chromebooks or tablets in the classroom gives students the digital skills they will need after they graduate. It is also such a strong component of students’ lives already, that leaving it out of educational programs would seem almost unnatural.
