As a student, I have used Microsoft Word for almost everything. Word was used for essays, various projects, and other things. In high school, I received my certification in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. My teachers used a  SmartBoard  towards the end of the year, desktops, and a projector to display the work they wanted to show.  I am not sure if I have had any experience with copyright besides books that I have read and written. I used to write books on a publishing app that everyone used in order to write stories for their enjoyment. When publishing, you had the option to place creative commons on the books so people could not steal or alter your work. I would use this when I am a teacher because it would help me to protect the work I put time into. I would allow some modifications to my works so that I can be of help to other teachers like me.  Academic honesty can be solved by children just being honest. Using technology in class is influential to students and teachers because it is a new, and fun method of learning. Students are more likely to want to learn on a mode of technology rather than read a textbook and take notes on notebook paper. Teachers can use technology to keep better track of papers and other things that may get lost if they were a loose sheet of paper. Technology keeps a classroom organized and engaged. The ISTE Standard that is meaningful to me would be the Creative Communicator skill. I enjoy doing creative things with technology such as making powerpoints, random websites, flyers, etc. The things I create are seen by other people which communicates the message I'm trying to send. A standard that is outside my skill set would be the Computational Thinker skill because it includes problem-solving and computing algorithms. I am not very good at math and critical thinking so this skill set it's not for me. The label 'digital native' does not reson...
