As a student, I have used Microsoft Word for almost everything. Word was used for essays, various projects, and other things. In high school, I received my certification in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. My teachers used a SmartBoard towards the end of the year, desktops, and a projector to display the work they wanted to show.
I am not sure if I have had any experience with copyright besides books that I have read and written. I used to write books on a publishing app that everyone used in order to write stories for their enjoyment. When publishing, you had the option to place creative commons on the books so people could not steal or alter your work. I would use this when I am a teacher because it would help me to protect the work I put time into. I would allow some modifications to my works so that I can be of help to other teachers like me.
Academic honesty can be solved by children just being honest. Academic honesty is not a hard issue to get rid of if people just produced their own ideas. Granted, it is hard because you can plagiarize off of yourself or without knowing altogether. We have things like Turnitin.com and other websites that check for honesty in academic papers. A solution to combat academic honesty wold be making every assignment be put in the scanning mediums to check for academic honesty in each paper.
A solution to cyberbullying would be to have counseling for students in school. Make it an event to have all the students get to know each other. The school can host a weekly small group where a different group of students meet with each other and get acquainted. It would lessen the bullying rate because essentially, no one would be left out.
A solution to the digital divide would be for adults to take a free class that teaches them how to use the new technology. Being that it is cost-effective, adults would be more likely to want to get to know how their children operate said devices.
