Blog Post #5

Diigo was very confusing to use. I did not like using it at all because I did not really understand the purpose of the application. It was something new to use and now I understand how to use after practicing in class and completing assignments. Diigo is a good tool to use when doing an assignment that you may need to add screenshots or annotations about an article to put into a presentation.

I have no problem with blogging, I have previous knowledge dealing with blogs when I was younger. I made blogs for "fun", because I was bored and wanted to learn new information. During the blogging process, I learned how to change a page layout and add a Twitter HTML into the home page that shows a live feed. I also learned how to use a Creative Commons License in my posts through HTML as well.

Skype is a good Web 2.0 tool that lets people communicate over long distances using a computer or cellphone. In education, educators can speak with students and relay information over long distances. Some classes use Skype to teach as opposed to them going into the physical classroom. One time, I used Skype in class to speak to the developers of a new app that we used at our school. They saw us and we saw them as well.
